www.klezmerkollectiv.com 1920′s New York; well remembered for Jazz musicians such as Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller and Tommy Dorsey but have you heard of Naftule Brandwein? or Dave Tarras? Although less well known names today, these Klezmer players were as well known as any Jazz musician at the time. The Klezmer Kollectiv is a group who recreate the energy and atmosphere of the Klezmer side of the Roaring ’20′s. Shown here are some rare images of the band along with their recording of N.
